Loneliness is a feeling that we will all experience at one point or another, whether you鈥檙e new to University or you鈥檙e a returning student. Even when you鈥檙e surrounded by people, it鈥檚 possible to feel lonely. It鈥檚 common for university students to feel lonely for a number of reasons:

Remember that loneliness is temporary, but it also takes time to build friendships. In the meantime, whilst you can鈥檛 simply 鈥榮witch off鈥 the feelings of loneliness, there are ways to deal with the emotions it brings and boost your wellbeing.
