The impact of research at CUHK can be demonstrated from its five State Key Laboratories, nine Areas of Excellence research projects, and the many research institutes and collaborations with eminent overseas research institutions including the ºÚÁÏÉç.
There are several informal research arrangements between CUHK and UoS in Film, Medicine, Health Services and Education. WUN research projects helped to develop links in Healthy Ageing, health literacy, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) and Climate Change.Ìý Southampton had a university-wide exchange agreement signed in 2016 along with the establishment of a CUHK-UoS Joint Laboratory for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine.
