Dr Ken Collins is an Emeritus Fellow within Ocean and Earth Science, National Oceanography Centre Southampton at the ºÚÁÏÉç.

Research interests

Specialisms: Artificial Reefs , Fisheries , Galapagos

  • Coastal ecology – GIS habitat mapping, seagrass, calcareous algae, biogenic reefs
  • Artificial reefs - for fishery enhancement, environmental evaluation of construction materials
  • Animal behaviour and movement – lobsters, sharks
  • Autonomous Underwater Vehicles
  • Scientific diving.
