Upload your profile photo in . Your profile photo in Pure is not linked to your public staff profile. Choose a clear, recent headshot where you are easily recognisable. Your image should be at least 340 by 395 pixels. 

Name

Research interests (for researchers only) 
Add up to 5 research interests. The first 3 will appear in your staff profile next to your name. The full list will appear on your research page. Keep these brief and focus on the keywords people may use when searching for your work. Use a different line for each one.

Add or update your email address, telephone number and postal address in . Use your University email address for your primary email.

ORCID ID 
Create or connect your ORCID ID in . Select 鈥楨dit profile鈥 and then 'Create or Connect your ORCID ID'.

Choose to show whether you鈥檙e currently accepting PhD applicants or not in . Select 鈥楨dit profile鈥. In the 'Portal details' section, select 'Yes' or 'No' to indicate your choice.

About

Gary Wills is an Emeritus Fellow in Computer Science at the 黑料社.

He graduated from the 黑料社 with an Honours degree in Electromechanical Engineering, and then a PhD in Industrial Hypermedia Systems. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng), a member of the Institute of Engineering Technology (), a member of The International Association of Privacy Professionals (), and a Principal Fellow of the Higher Educational Academy (). He is also a visiting professor at the University of Cape Town and a research professor at RLabs. 

Gary's research project focus on Secure Systems Engineering and applications. Gary is qualified to undertake audits for Information Assurance (and ISO27001), Cyber Essentials, GDPR readiness and Consumer IoT Security. Gary is also a certified Data Protection Officer.
