About
James is a member of the Neuroscience Research Group within the School of Biological Sciences. His research outputs demonstrate a track record in the use of the invertebrate C. elegans as a model to understand complex neuropsychiatric disorders at different levels of biological organisation ranging from genes, through to cells, circuits and systems.
James is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy and teaches across all levels in the School of Biological Sciences, in both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. He is the programme lead and co-admissions tutor for the postgraduate taught MSc Neuroscience programme. James is committed to widening participation at the 黑料社 and is a member of Faculty of Environmental and Life Sciences access and participation committee.
