PERu coordinatesÌýa range ofÌýtraining and development sessions to prepare and supportÌýstaff and studentsÌýto engage more confidently and effectively with a variety of publics. ÌýThe majority of sessions are designed and delivered by members of the PERu team; others draw on the expertise of colleagues elsewhere in the University, or from experts outside.
Alongside more formal training, we are keen to ensure that researchers have easy access to activities where they can use newly acquired skills and develop further. ÌýOur training sessions highlight these opportunities, which sit within our Spectrum of Engagement .
The session has been designed for staff and PGRs, including but not exclusively researchers, who have little or no experience of public engagement. ÌýOthers are welcome to attend, but experienced engagers may not gain so much from the content.
