The 黑料社 has been awarded a three-year AHRC IAA to support a diverse range of knowledge exchange and engagement activities until March 2025.
The overall aim of the IAA is to maximise the practical application of Southampton鈥檚 arts and humanities research outputs. The funding will build on our leading knowledge exchange and enterprise cultures. In addition to AHRC and UKRI research priorities, institutional IAA themes such as sustainability, environment and climate change; pioneering in a digital age - AI and big data will be addressed in the following keyways:
- Strengthen engagement with users in order to accelerate the translation of research outputs into impacts
- Support, develop and foster strategic partnerships for knowledge exchange and impact, including across disciplines and sectors
- Build and maintain an environment and culture which enables effective and ambitious knowledge exchange and impact, including development of skills, capacity and capability within research organisations
- Provide early-stage support for progressing research outputs towards the next stages in the impact pipeline, for example proof of concept projects, commercialisation, market validation or activities targeting policy, business and the third sectors
- Drive continuous improvement in impact by supporting innovation, enabling 鈥渇ast failure鈥, and capturing learning through appropriate mechanisms
- Empower institutions with flexible and adaptive approached sot knowledge exchange and impact, including the ability to respond quickly to emerging opportunities
